Jeremy is a rock drummer that makes beer. He’ll be the first one to tell you that he looks WAY cooler on paper than in person. Spending most of his early adult life in musical instrument sales, Jeremy knew it was time for change in the mid 2010’s. That’s when he walked into Southbound Brewing Company here in Savannah. Warmly welcomed, Jeremy started bartending in the brerwery’s taproom and moved his way up through the ranks until he became Lead Brewer for the company under Brewmaster, Smith Mathews. After helping get production started with the Mathews brothers at Hop Atomica, Jeremy was ready to do his own damn thing. And here we are…

When he’s not working on The Underdog or drinking cheap beers at a local dive (Miller Lite & Lone Star for the win!), Jeremy can be found playing drums with some of Savannah’s most respected bands: The Train Wrecks, Lyn Avenue, and Damon & the Shitkickers. He is married to local veterinary bad-ass, Cara Ann Hammons, DVM, and has 3 kitties that drive him crazy.

Meet McKenzie… Mackle Hambs, Morgan Mackelson, Waka Flocka Hambs, McFlimsy, Dr. Morgan McStuffins, Hamblestiltskin…or just “Mac” will do. A 2019 cum laude graduate from Georgia Southern University, McKenzie brings a background in journalism and experience in marketing breweries from her time at Southbound Brewing and Hop Atomica here in Savannah. Though her main jobs here at The Underdog are photography and marketing, she’s also taken it upon herself to wrangle Jeremy in and let him know when he’s being too much. Which is often.

When Mac isn’t doing Underdog stuff, you can find her all over the damn place with her own company, Kenzie Morgan Photography.

She loves a loud bar, sugary shots, Fall Out Boy, and her “kitten” Mochi.

If you ever meet someone who says they don’t like Phil…run in the other direction. Something is clearly wrong with that fool!

Phil has more than 10 years of administrative and management experience under his belt as the beloved Administrative Secretary at Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts here in Savannah. He was “Mr. Price” there. You can call him Phil at The Underdog.

An accomplished musician since 1995, Phil has embarked on 12 international and 20+ North American tours with bands such as An Albatross, The SW!MS, M80, and Savannah darlings, COEDS. You can also catch him all over town with damn near every band in Savannah…He’s a sought after fella.

When he’s not keeping our books and sanity in order, Phil is spending time with his wife, radio bad-ass, Emily Jones, and their dachshund, Otto. The man loves a terrible B-movie and most any type of music you throw his direction.
